Our Research and Development department is here to guide the customer as soon as possible and in the best conditions.
Our R & D team is available to our clients to assist them in the search for coatings adapted to desired functional specifications .
To do this, we are equipped with a laboratory in which we conduct tests and pre - series small quantities. This service , fast and flexible , allows us to test for the same need , several coating solutions in the shortest possible time .
This technical assistance can be devoted :
- to define precisely the nature and technical specifications to be used for a given functional need,
- to seek an innovative solution in terms of materials for a given functional need.
Often our customers require tight thickness tolerances. We use numerical simulation that allows us to determine, before production, the distribution of thick on parts. Thus , we can know in advance how will the coating be on the workpieces. If necessary , we can design special tools so that the coating correspond as closely as possible to desired specifications .
PEM 's expertise in the field of multiphysics modeling is also available to customers who wish it, for further modeling. For example , we performed modeling of laser welding , laser ablation , thermal diffusion of a source of energy in specific materials ....

Prototyping is done on individual pieces or bulk as well as pieces in strip .
The serie covered may range from 1 to 5 000 pieces

- Individuals pieces : 150 mm long et 250 mm wide at maximum
- Pieces in strip :
- Total treatment : 250 mm long et 100 mm wide at maximum
- Selective treatment: 150 mm long max
