Nine reel to reel machines specialized for pre-stamped coils:

Two machines for full tin plating on copper or steel substrates.

One machine for full or selectiv silver plating.

Two machines for selectiv nickel, gold and tin plating .

One machine for selectiv nickel, silver, gold and tin plating.

One machine for high thickness of tin alloys plating Inlay-Toplay.

Two machines for gold and silver spot plating.

A waste water treatment plant with a capacity of 20 m3 / h.

A technical department with ten experts in chemical and electrochemical processes, in "materiaux" as well as in mechanical systems.

Shifts of chemical and mechanical maintenance support our production shifts 24h/24h.

Most important selective technologies .

Four technologies are used in the Saugues Unit :

1. Plating edges by depth controlled level.

2. Plating strips or edges by taping.

3. Plating strips or edges by wheel masking system.

4. Spot plating with or without tool.

Main characteristics of the plating.

Accuracy : - 0 + 2 mm

Strip width : > 3 mm

Plating 2D or 3D parts is possible.

Strip only on the edges of the band.

Accuracy : ± 0.2 mm.

Width of a strip: > 1.5 mm

This system is more efficient for 2D parts when the parts are strong enough to support the taping operation.

Several strips on the two sides are possible.

Plating strips or edges with a wheel masking system.

Main characteristics of the deposit.

Accuracy : - 0 + 1 mm.

Strip width : > 3 mm

This system is more efficient for 2D parts when the parts are strong enough to support the deformation on the wheel sytem.

Plating with a strip on one side or a strip on each side.

 

Examples.

Gold strip on one side

Spot plating with or without tools.

This new process does not use specific tools for each customer part. Therefore, it is really adapted to prototypes and small or medium series of parts, in particular if the parts are plated with precious metals . For more details, please consul the technical specification of the process.

Main characteristic of the deposit.

Accuracy of the plating: ± 0.1 mm.

Minimum surface of the plating : > 0.250 mm2

2D or 3D parts.

Several spot on each sides.
